Pupils returning to school with a mobility aid (e.g. wheelchair, crutches, orthopedic boot, etc) need to complete a Mobility Aid Protocol Form prior to their return to school, as per our Health and Safety Policy.

We are not covered by our school insurance in the event of an accident, if we allow a pupil or staff member to come into school using a Mobility Aid, unless it has been sanctioned by a medical professional and the necessary form has been completed.
Copies of this form are also held in the school office.

Please see our Administrations of Medicines policy (4) on our policy page.

The Board of Management requests parents to ensure that school staff be made aware in writing of any medical condition suffered by any child in their class coupled with detailed instructions on the method by which medicines are to be administered.

This is required for long term illnesses (e.g asthma) as well as shrt term illnesses (e.g. an illness requiring a short course of antibiotics).

This can be done by completing an Administration of medicines Form and returning to to the school office.
