At St Francis NS the teaching staff strive to address pupils individual learning needs. We have several support structures, and special programmes, in place for students who have been granted special teaching hours by the National Council for Special Education. Various teaching methods are employed in order to assist pupils to fulfil their individual educational goals.
Pupils entitled to learning support take part in small group tuition, in-class support and learning support classes.

If you feel your child has special educational needs, please arrange an appointment to talk to the school principal about the type of education that would suit your child’s needs.
We will then apply to the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) which administers and processes applications for special educational resources using its network of Special Educational Needs Organisers.
