Dear Parents, It is just two weeks to go until the start of the new school term and we hope you have all had a good summer. The school will be open from next Monday, 24th August and parents may call in to pay their book bills any day next week to avoid the rush at the beginning of term. We will also be having another “Uniform Swap Shop” in.
Mrs Lawless and Mrs O’Rourke took the Junior and Senior Infants on their school tour to Newgrange Farm today. There was much excitement when a double decker bus arrived outside the school to take them there! They had a special farmyard tour where they got to hold and feed some of the animals and lots of time to play in the various play areas. They also got to go on.
Miss Carolan, Mrs Donaghy and Miss Clarke took pupils from 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th classes to W5 in Belfast this week for their school tour. During thier visit, the pupils got to do special pre-arranged workshops including a forces interactive lesson and a forensic science lesson where.
