4th Class Teacher


Anne Donaghy joined the staff of St Francis National School in 2010. She has a BA degree in French and English Literature from the Open University and gained her teaching qualification from Hibernia College.
Prior to becoming a teacher she worked in industry and as a qualified fitness instructor ran Aerobics classes for many years.
She is a fluent French speaker and used to teach Primary French at various schools in County Louth. She has also worked as a Learning Support and Resource teacher as well as a maintream class teacher in 2nd Class and in 5th class. For the coming year she is looking forward to teaching 4th class pupils.
She has been instrumental in several Arts and Crafts projects within the school and is responsible for many of the fabulous colourful displays adorning the school walls at St Francis. She also project-managed the percent for art project after moving in to our new shool building, resuting in the wonderful our outdoor classroom and mosaics.
In her spare time she loves to travel, is involved in amateur drama and is passionate about the arts.
