We were thrilled to welcome Bobby from Dundalk Dog Rescue to St Francis NS today.
A group of girls from 4th class set up a lunchtime stall in March/April selling home made loom band bracelets and they wanted all the money raised to go to Dundalk Dog Rescue, so Bobby came in to collect a cheque and bring three of their rescue dogs in to meet the pupils of Mr Ward’s 4th class.
We were entertained by Douglas the Lurcher, Luna the Caverpoo, and Booboo the Pekachi (Pekingese and Chihuahua mix). Bobby enthralled us the charming history of each dog and the children all got to pet and walk them.
Before he left the girls presented him with a cheque for €530 .
