On Monday 8th December, the Junior end (Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st and 2nd Classes) held the dress rehearsals for their Christmas concerts, watched by the rest of the school.
The performances to parents were on Tuesday 9th December.
Both Junior Infants classes performed a play. Mrs O’Connell’s Class did ‘The Nativity’ and Miss Lynn’s Class did ‘A Snowman at Sunset’.
The two Senior Infant classes performed together singing two songs: ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’, ‘Nearly Christmas’ and performing their Choral verse, ‘A Christmas Wish’.
Miss Grey’s 1st Class performed the play, ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’.
Miss Carroll’s 1st Class (with the help of Cassandra) performed ‘ Knock Knock’
Mrs Cumiskey’s 2nd Class did a Choral verse ‘Remember the Reindeer’ and used boom whackers to the song ‘Jingle Bells’.
Last but not least, Miss McGrath’s 2nd class performed a poem ‘A Ride with Santa’ and the song ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ in ISL ( Irish Sign Language)
All of their performances were fascinating!
Their costumes were very cute!
