Mohamed making his iron coin!
On the 3rd of March, Students from 6th class and on the 21st of march students from 3rd class had the privilege to experience a grand lecture from DKIT by a wonderful presenter known as Scientific Sue! Sue talked and explained to the countless children about the Celts and their wacky science. We have spoken to many children, of which all of them gave great compliments and amazing remarks of Scientific Sue. James from 6th A, like the other students, was truly amazed by the chemical explosion Sue made in the lecture. Volunteers were chosen to assist Scientific Sue, such as Mohamed who made an iron coin from pouring molten iron into a mold which he got to keep after the lecture concluded. By the end of the lecture, all the pupils were amazed and thanked Scientific Sue for the wonderful science she demonstrated!
