The chess team went on a special tournament to the Ard Boyne Hotel in Navan.
The chess team had great craic playing all the other students. Everybody played great. ‘All of us were so happy we could partake in this amazing experience,’ said Sebastian and Zane in 3rd class.
The average score was 3 – 5 for Buds and 3 – 6 for the Masters. It was a lovely venue with lovely people with a lovely game.
We want to train more people to play chess since it is an amazing game to train the mind for anyone. It is a very peaceful game and it is a very easy game to play. Please give it a shot. Let your teacher know and we can take time to teach you.
