Blackrock Tidy Towns Slogan Winners

Congratulations to Adela, Cora and Abbi in 6th class for being placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Blackrock Tidy Towns Poster/Slogan competition. National Spring Clean

On Saturday 8th April Blackrock Tidy Towns is holding the Annual Spring Clean in the village and they are keen to involve as many children as possible from the two village schools. Meet at the lower car park at Centra at 10am. Hi-viz bibs and litter pickers will be provided, but please wear wellies. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Blackrock Raft Race 2016

Congratulations to Team St Francis for their wonderful performance in the Raft Race yesterday. They battled some stiff competition in their heat and made the final, but in spite of a sterling effort they fell just outside of the medals.
