This weekend marks the launch of National Bike Week in Ireland and we plan to celebrate with activities and fun on the theme of cycling. We encourage all pupils and their families to please get involved. Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of all that’s great about bikes and cycling. Programme of Activities (subject to change)
We have signed up, as a school, for Super Troopers – a programme devised by Laya Healthcare to encourage daily physical activity. Each pupil has an activity journal and a family activity wallchart. Pupils are encouraged to spend 10-15 minutes doing each activity and parents are asked to sign off each activity at the end of the week, just as they would regular homework.
