Prizegiving Assembly 2017

Today we held our end of year prize-giving assembly in school.

Mrs Lawless congratulated ALL PUPILS on an exceptional year at St Francis and thanked every pupil and staff member for their contribution to school life at St Francis:

5th Class “Sally Gardeners” eco tribe all received a special mention for their Celtic themed garden project, which won a Gold award in the Louth County Council GROW awards – well done to Mrs Sweeney and her class!

The members of the school choir all received certificates for their wonderful contribution this year to various school, church and community events.

Student Council 2016-2017 is Davies, Modestas, Rose, Katie, Annie and Oisin. (Missing from photo: Erin and Grace).

This year they have organised the Childline breakfast, Irish Cancer Society Bake Sale and coffee morning, free dress day to fund buddy benches.

They also help with many aspects of day to day school life.
